An ideal instrument for beginners or school programs, the Kreisler #110 series is well built, reliable, and produces a warm, mellow tone. Its ebony pegs and modern tailpiece make tuning easier, eliminating the hassles normally associated with cheaper violins. The spruce top and maple back use a lower grade timber, evident in the reduced flame on the back (compared to the higher grade timbers of the Kreisler #120 series). The Kreisler #110 violins are most suitable for players at a third grade AMEB standard or below.

This is a 1/2 size violin usually suitable for 7-9 year olds. You can see our sizing guidelines here: https://www.violins.com.au/blogs/ssc-library/what-size-violin-do-i-need

These instruments are beautifully hand crafted in China and professionally set up by our Luthiers in our workshop.

Why The **** does this violin sound so good

I bought this violin because I wanted to leave a violin at school instead of bringing my really expensive violin with me to school everyday risking damage to it. I just tried to find the cheapest one out there and stumbled upon this 500$ violin that came with everything, bow, rosin, cloth, case and the violin itself, all for a surprising price for under 500$. I arrived 30 minutes before closing time so I was a bit rushed because I did not want to go overtime. So when got the chance to try the violin, I was just really quick with it, not trying it to its full potential, because what else would you expect from the cheapest violin on the market? Expecting bad quality and sounding, when I got home, I decided to put this violin to its limits. It was fricking amazing! The G string and A string are extremely strong, however just the D string and E string were only a tiny bit softer than the other two. As someone who is about to do their Certificate of Performance in 3 days, this violin was surely a highlight.
