Francois Jacquot #300VA Violin 4/4

The Francois Jacquot 300VA is our favourite all-rounder intermediate violin. Like our other Jacquot models, it isn’t overly bright or warm and has a good balance between the lower and upper registers. In comparison to the Jacquot 300T, the 300VA is slightly warmer and silkier with richer overtone and will work exceptionally well in both solo or ensemble settings. In terms of AMEB or Trinity levels we believe it is most suitable for advancing players at a 4th to 6th grade standard.

The Jacquot 300VA has a beautiful honey coloured varnish that speaks to its sweet tone. It is usually fitted with Larsen Il Cannone strings which add more clarity and brilliance to the sound. If Il Cannone strings aren't in-stock, then a suitable alternative will be used.

All of our Jacquot violins are beautifully hand-crafted in China using solid maple and spruce tone woods and professionally set-up by the luthiers in our Sydney-based workshop to ensure good playability and quality of sound.
