Cello - Nicolas Deroux VI02 (Instrument Only), 4/4

This delightful cello was handcrafted in China using lightly flamed maple with a medium curl on the back and sides, and a finely grained spruce on the top. This instrument is fitted with a french bridge and a tailpiece with built-in fine tuners. The varnish is of a gold-brown colour, and the instrument measures 755mm in length, 335mm along the upper bout, and 435mm across the lower bout. 

The Deroux VI02 has a particularly sweet sound in the upper registers, and gradually becomes darker in the lower registers. This versatility in sound is characteristic of the Deroux cellos, but what sets this one apart is it's warm yet clean tone. This cello has a fair playability and would be ideal for players looking to complete their upper AMEB levels or HSC Study.
