If you have an instrument that you would like lovingly restored, please book a repair assessment to speak with one of our luthiers.
What is a Repair Assessment?
Repair assessments are required for any instrument needing more complex repairs. Your instrument will be seen by one of our senior luthiers and they will draw up a quote and comprehensive guide to the necessary repairs.
For this service, we may need to keep your instrument for up to one week, and a $110 fee is charged which can be credited towards the overall cost of the completed repairs.

Testimonials
Recently Thomas Price did transformative work on my cherished Peter Reid Servais Strad copy cello. I am thrilled and amazed! I want to emphasise the thoroughly musical and artistic nature of this otherwise technical process: was supported in identifying the kind of sounds I am after; Doug played on the cello so I better could appraise its weaknesses; we came to an agreement and he proposed specifically material alterations/improvements (all in a perfectly patient, congenial and friendly environment); when I collected the cello we again considered, and tried different strings of his suggestion; I left the Centre absolutely certain my instrument was sounding way more beautiful than ever before. Several solo recitals later, I still am grinning!
