Ines Lecher graduated from the Newark School of Violin Making, after which she worked in Berlin, focusing on restoration and Baroque instruments. She is now part of the New Making team in the workshop of Florian Leonhard in London, where she focuses on creating true copies of the finest Italian violins. This violin is sold with a certificate of authenticity and photos from the maker.

Labelled 'Ines Nicola Lecher fecit London anno 2019', this violin is modelled after a Golden Period Strad. The back is of two-piece, medium-flamed maple with matching ribs and scroll. The top is made from medium-grained spruce. It is finished with red-brown varnish and the fittings are made from matching boxwood. The body measures 354mm along the back, 168 across the upper bouts and 207mm across the lower bouts.

Featuing an open, brilliant sound and immediate response, this violin is well-balanced with lots of projection. It is suited to solo, chamber and orchestral playing and sold with a certificate of authenticity from the maker.
