Iotti & Vibe 'Elba' Violin Parma 2023

This violin was made by luthiers Agnete Vibe and Pietro Iotti in 2023 in their workshop in Parma. These two young makers graduated from the Parma School of Violin Making, having worked closely with masters such as Renato Scrollavezza and Andrea Zanrè, and established their own workshop in 2019.  This instrument comes with a certificate of authenticity and photos from the maker. 

This violin is labelled "Iotti & Vibe 2023 / Parma 'Elba' / Agnete / Pietro". The body measures 354mm along the back, 163mm across the upper bouts and 203mm across the lower bouts. It has a highly flamed, two-piece back of maple, with broad curl, and matching ribs and scroll. The top is of a finely-grained spruce. The violin has a gold-brown varnish with boxwood tailpiece and pegs, and is in excellent condition.

This violin has a bright and resonant sound and is most suited for solo and chamber playing, at a tertiary level or higher. It possesses a very quick response, with a fullness of tone to match, and is balanced well across all registers.
