Schroeder #500 Violin 4/4

The Schroeder 500 is the most superior Schroeder in our intermediate range and has a sweet, bright tone with good projection. It is favoured by intermediate players doing more solo performing. In comparing it to our other Schroder models, the 500 has a more focused sound, with more richness and tonal complexity and this is due to the use of higher quality wood and workmanship. In terms of AMEB or Trinity levels we believe it is most suitable for advancing players at a 4th to 6th grade standard.

The Schroeder 500 has a lightly antiqued gold-brown varnish, inlaid purfling, ebony pegs, nut and fingerboard and a tailpiece with in-built fine tune adjusters. It is fitted with Larsen Il Cannone strings which add more clarity and brilliance to the sound.  If Larsen Il Cannone strings aren't in-stock, then a similar alternative such as Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings will be used.

All of our Schroeder violins are beautifully hand crafted in China using solid maple and spruce tone woods and professionally setup by the Luthiers in our Sydney based workshop to ensure good playability and quality of sound. Every instrument purchased from The Sydney String Centre comes with free lifetime servicing* to ensure your instrument stays in optimal playing condition.
