Low tension synthetic violin strings with excellent projection. The E string, which has a removable ball end, is available in tin, gold or platinum, and the D string is available in aluminium or silver.

Infeld A string medium

I have a 1916 French violin. Use Larsen Tzigane E and the medium Infeld Pi A, D and G. They last about 11 months. New strings two weeks ago, same brands, but didn't like the A string. Sounded harsh. Replaced with the Larsen Tzigane. Much better.

Interesting that the same string sounded different.

The Infeld D and G are excellent on this violin.
