This Cello Spike Protector is made of rubber and is designed to cover the sharp spike of a cello. It not only protects the player (and household pets) from spike accidents, but it also prevents scratches to wooden flooring and reduces slipping.

The protector/ stopper can be used for 1/10, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full size cellos. To install simply slide it on the end of the spike.

If you are looking for a full proof anti-slip option, we suggest purchasing an endpin stopper. Endpin stoppers are larger and sometimes include a strap that attaches to the players chair. Endpin stoppers are often referred to as a 'rock stops', 'cello doughnuts' or 'blackholes'.
