Violin bow French late 20th C.
This violin bow is a fine French workshop bow likely made in the late 20th Century. The workmanship is very precise, and very characteristic of the proportions and quality of French making in the late 1900's, notably the sloped sweep of the head to the point.
The bow is unstamped and weighs 61.5 grams. It has a round stick of pernambuco, with silver tinsel lapping and a leather grip. The frog is of ebony, fully mounted with silver, with a Parisian eye and a three part button of silver and ebony. It is in good condition.
