Intelli IMT801 Digital 5 in 1 Metronome Tuner with Hygrometer

The Intelli IMT-801 All-In-One Metro-Tuner is an amazing tool for any musician. It has 5 different modes including a hygrometer/temperature reader, tuner, metronome, tone generator and multitasking mode which allows you to tune AND keep time simultaneously! The IMT-801 is intuitive and easy to use, with an adjustment wheel in the center that allows you to quickly change the tempo, rhythm, beat emphasis and Hertz. The digital chromatic tuner shows you what note you are playing and tells you whether it is sharp or flat using the digital display. If the needle is pointing to the left, the note you are playing is flat, and if it is pointing to the right, the note you are playing is sharp. When the note is in tune, a blue light will appear. If you are playing a C instrument such as the violin, viola, cello or double bass, be sure to keep the settings to 440Hz in the key of C.

The metronome has a tempo range of 30-252 beats per minute. You are also able to change the rhythm of the ticks (quavers, semitones, triplets, dotted/swayed etc.) and put an emphasis on the first beat of each bar (using a different pitch tick – like you would have on a traditional analogue metronome with a bell). The IMT-801 is one of the loudest digital metronomes out there with quite a pleasant tone, making it preferable in a group setting. You can also use the metronome with headphones or put it on mute, as there is a visual representation of the beat on the screen.

The tone generator is for those who are relatively confident at tuning and just need one note to tune to as a reference. The Intelli IMT-801 can generate any of the 88 notes on a piano.

One of the best things about the IMT-801 is the multitasking function. This function allows you to tune AND set the metronome at the same time. Ideal for practicing tempo and intonation simultaneously.

If you have an instrument that requires a humidifier or dehumidifier at times (if you are travelling to a particularly dry or humid place or if you live in the country where it can be particularly dry), you will definitely benefit from the temperature/hygrometer function. This will indicate when you need to use a humidifier or dehumidifier.
