Schroeder #200 Cello 3/4

This cello was handcrafted in China using moderately flamed maple with a medium curl on the back and sides, and a finely grained spruce on the top. This instrument is fitted with a french bridge and a tailpiece with built-in fine tuners. The varnish is of a red colour, and the instrument measures 690mm in length, 315mm along the upper bout, and 405mm across the lower bout.

The Schroeder 200 has a particularly sweet sound which is balanced across all registers of this instrument. The character of this cello is consistent when responding to bowing and dynamic changes and the top strings resonate its round sound beautifully. With it's fair playability, this cello would be suited for the intermediate player looking to complete their Grade 4 to Grade 6 levels.
