Arcus S6 Silver Octagonal Cello Bow

For many years the S6 has been our best selling cello bow. It is perfect for orchestra and chamber music, for pro players as well as advanced amateurs and students who want a perfect bow. Its sound is on par with the finest and expensive old French bows, yet it is more powerful and easy to play.

The S-bows are a perfect match to larger instruments and all those with flat arching and /or a lighter construction. The brilliant sound of the S-series bows provides plenty of projection, clarity, and power. The S-Bows are made with round and octagonal sticks. The latter ones bounce almost automatically and are very lively and agile.

Before they are engraved and assembled, every Arcus stick is tested and classified according to its resonance quality.
