Francois Jacquot #100T Cello 3/4

The Francois Jacquot #100T 3/4 Size Cello combines some of the best tonal features of the Kreisler #130 and Schroeder #30J. It has warmth like the Kreisler and a little bit more projection like the Schroeder.

It has a golden honey coloured varnish which reflects the beautiful, sweet tone, and the timber and workmanship is a higher grade to that of the Schroeder 30J.

The physical build is slighter than most cellos which makes it easier to get around and it is fitted with a carbon endpin which also makes it more lightweight. Its ebony pegs and modern tailpiece make tuning easier, eliminating the hassles normally associated with cheaper cellos.

The Francois Jacquot #100T cellos are most suitable for players at a fourth grade AMEB standard or below.

These instruments are beautifully hand crafted in China using solid maple and spruce tone woods and professionally setup by the Luthiers in our Sydney based workshop to ensure good playability and quality of sound.
